They are used to create a paradigm shift for a particular problem. In regards to health interventions for women in Afghanistan you have aid based interventions and capacity based interventions. Aid based interventions are services that meet a particular need in a short term way. Things like food and money donations, military assistance and health care are all innovations that provide a solution. Capacity based interventions are programs and policies that meet the need to create a long term change/growth. Education is one of the most innovated forms of capacity based interventions, along with giving women jobs. Tools to help ensure them with an overall improved quality of life.

This law has the following Objectives:
1. Maintaining Sharia and legal rights and protecting the human dignity of women.
2.Protecting families and fighting against customs, traditions and practices causing violence against women and which are against Islamic Sharia.
3. Protecting and supporting women who are victims of, or at risk of violence.
4. Prevention of violence against women.
5. Maintain public awareness and training on violence against women.
6. Prosecuting perpetrators of violence against women.
